Become an advocate for the treasures of the James Ford Bell Library.

Since our formation in 1963, we have helped to make the Library internationally known and respected. Our activities vary from hosting lectures, special events, and sponsoring awards for high school and college student research to funding publications – promoting use of the Library to a global audience.

We'd like you to join us!

Member Levels:

Student $15: Students only may attend the new annual Student Research Forum led by the Library curator.

Traveler $50: Invitations to insider evenings at the Library.

Mariner $100: All preceding member benefits, plus Annual Report acknowledgement, publications, and custom collection note cards.

Navigator $250: All preceding member benefits, plus invitation to the new “Fireside Talks” with the curator, featuring the Library’s collections and acquisitions.

Voyager $500: All preceding member benefits, plus invitation to the reception prior to the annual lecture, with an opportunity to meet the guest lecturer.

Explorer $1,000: All preceding member benefits, plus an invitation to the annual “Library Lore and Legends” informal talk and private luncheon.

Black Tulip Society $2,500: All preceding member benefits, plus your choice of three high quality reproductions from the Library’s collections including the Waldseemuller and Ricci maps.
